Children Education
METL believes in quality of education through enhancement in the standard of learning, building self confidence, create awareness and enlighten students of our project area with the latest in learning methodology to achieve the best.
A programme of Excellence in Learning was initiated in 100 Govt schools of Jhajjar with the assistance of “PRATHAM”, a voluntary organization. The results of the programme were very encouraging. Excellence for learning was further supplemented through “SEED”, a Delhi based organization for capacity building in Govt Schools.
District Level Painting competition was also conducted in 2008 in Jhajjar and was well appreciated by then Deputy Commissioner, Jhajjar.
METL also initiated e-Learning Programme in 80 Govt schools of Jhajjar with a contribution of Rs 36.80 lakh in 2014 – 2015
Educational initiatives like provision of teachers and arranging Career Counseling sessions and coaching classes, supply of furniture, school bags, study materials, infra support, organizing debating, sports and quiz competitions, for the inclusive growth of children living in our Project area are undertaken from time to time.Personality development, improvement in communication skills and create all round development of these children is our goal.
Swachta Abhiyan in consonance with the National Drive has also been launched in all the Government schools and villages of the Project area.
